Medical Assistant
A Family Medicine practice in McKinney & Arlington Texas ( 2 fridays a month) is looking for a Medical Assistant to join the team. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with excellent organizational, clinical, and customer service skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Greets patients
- Answers phones
- Schedules appointments
- Checks in and out
- Verifies insurance
- Rooms patients and takes vitals and history
- Records patient care documentation in an electronic medical record accurately and in a timely manner
- Assists physician with procedures
- Organizes, stocks and cleans exam rooms
Minimum Requirements:
- Two – three years of experience working both front and back office (experience in primary care is preferred)
- Highly proficient computer skills including experience with electronic medical records, practice management systems, and Microsoft Office (experience with eClinicalWorks a plus)
