At Omega Day Centers, our Direct Support Professionals help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities build independence, confidence, life skills, and meaningful connections within their communities.
As a DSP, you’ll support individuals in reaching personal goals, learning new skills, participating in their communities, and creating meaningful everyday experiences.

What You’ll Do
- Support individuals with daily living, personal care, and life skills.
- Encourage independence, choice, confidence, and personal goals.
- Support community outings, recreational activities, volunteer opportunities, and social experiences.
- Help individuals explore interests, develop skills, and reach milestones.
- Communicate with families, caregivers, supervisors, and support teams.
- Follow individualized service plans and complete required documentation.
- Help maintain a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment.
What We’re Looking For
We value compassion, reliability, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
Required:
- A relevant work or life experience supporting individuals with disabilities.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Reliable transportation with current insurance.
- Ability to travel within the community.
- Ability to successfully complete required background and drug screenings.
- Basic computer skills.
Experience in any of the following is a plus:
- Direct support or disability services
- Caregiving or personal care
- Human services
- Education or tutoring
- Behavioral health
- Vocational or employment services
- Community-based programs
New to DSP work? That’s okay. If you have experience in caregiving, education, customer service, coaching, human services, or another people-focused role, your skills may transfer well to this position.
