What are the responsibilities and job description for the Excavation Laborer/Pipelayer position at Omega Excavation & Site Development?
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Laborer/Pipelayer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 - 3 years of experience in excavation. Duties will include installation and testing of sewer, storm and water lines as well as laboring tasks associated with site development. The candidate should be versatile and knowledgeable in all aspects of site work including, but not limited to, pipe laying, parking lots, foundation excavations, roads, curb and sidewalk. This is a great opportunity to learn more about grading, slopes and interpreting and understanding plans. We offer a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.
Duties
- Utilize pipe lasers to ensure precise alignment and depth of pipelines.
- Collaborate with team members to locate utilities and determine the best installation methods.
- Install various types of pipes for storm, sewer, electric, gas, and water services and mains according to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment on the construction site.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment and performing tasks.
