POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sr. Director, Commercial Technology plays a key leadership role in the DwyerOmega IT team. The Sr. Director, Commercial Technology engages with their team to deliver global digital and e-commerce solutions that drive value to customers by providing an exceptional online customer experience resulting in increased revenue to the organization. This includes providing strategic leadership, direction, and oversight for the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of all related systems supporting Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Product Management and related functions. This individual will also manage and lead project teams to ensure successful delivery of projects aligned with business goals.

Requirements:

Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Responsible for all aspects of the technology related to e-commerce, CRM, product information management (PIM), and digital marketing efforts
  • Build the unique value proposition for all brands online
  • Lead new web site development initiatives in close partnership with global marketing.
  • Manages digital creative and content packages with a mobile-first and CRM-centric approach to ensure greater data capture and/or retention
  • Develops roadmap for digital transformation across channels, implementing programs that personalize the consumer experience and accelerate online sales growth
  • Oversee eCommerce innovation and strategy development including building concepts, ideating, planning, implementation, and coordination/execution with key stakeholders
  • Manages the strategy and roll out of global omnichannel CRM, loyalty and personalization efforts across various digital vehicles including email, paid media, social, and new innovation
  • Develop and manage the data and technology strategy used to monitor the health of the Customer Ecosystem and elevate the experience at each step of the customer journeys
  • Partner with Marketing on the implementation and utilization of database marketing programs and customer journey maps to drive brand loyalty and sales across the consumer lifecycle
  • Responsible for the development of market start-up toolkits including resource guidelines, site assets and tracking KPI’s
  • Develops and leads implementations of new digital commerce strategies that support Marketing and Sales objectives
  • Continuously monitor and track new consumer behavior, competitive and market trends to drive new features and work closely with the digital team and Customer Service to develop innovative solutions and ideas.
  • Lead, develop, and manage a high performing team

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in leading e-commerce initiatives
  • Proven track record in driving e-commerce growth, customer acquisition and retention
  • Strategic, forward thinking, anticipation of key market trends
  • Leadership in digital space and strong knowledge of digital media platforms
  • Strong leader with flexibility and ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player, highly collaborative
  • Customer service focused and solution oriented
  • Strong and proactive communication skills
  • Highly analytical and creative

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related area

Essential/Preferred Skills :

  • MBA or advanced degree in related area
  • PMP certification
  • Lean Process Improvement training and/or certification
  • Experience with SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris), Salesforce.com, Hubspot

Work Conditions and Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments.
  • Availability to work outside of core business hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays when required for system upgrades or migrations.
  • Required to sit or stand for long periods of time.
  • The ability to lift 30-50 lbs without assistance.
  • Local and/or International travel will be required as needed (10-15%) including some extended stays on location for education or deployments. Must have a valid driver's license and US Passport.
