Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of office spaces, including desks, chairs, windows, and surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms by sanitizing fixtures, replenishing supplies, and ensuring proper disposal of waste.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors regularly to uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Handle trash removal and recycling duties efficiently across all designated areas.
- Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as dusting surfaces, cleaning glass doors and partitions, and disinfecting high-touch areas.
- Use commercial cleaning equipment like buffers and floor scrubbers to maintain floor care standards.
- Assist with light custodial duties related to facilities maintenance or minor repairs as needed.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles within commercial or residential settings.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing floors.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices and custodial equipment operation.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow cleaning protocols precisely.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining efficiency.
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
