Managing Director, Client Leadership - (job location is New York, NY; employer is OMD USA LLC) - Oversee a staff of 30 media and data analytics professionals in account/relationship management across 14 brands within the L’Oréal USA Luxe Division Portfolio. Manage media/advertising budgets and implement strategic/operational processes. Direct content for senior level top-to-top meetings and work sessions. Identify industry trends impacting client brands/categories, targets and key media channels that impact performance and oversee the creation of POVs and key actions. Develop innovation opportunities and division/enterprise level portfolio management/prioritization. Manage agency deliverables and negotiation/execution of contracts and media pricing terms. Lead procurement and other key stakeholders in development and negotiation of scope of work, staff plans and remuneration. Recruit/develop new talent. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Marketing and Management, or Business Management, plus five years of post-bachelor’s progressive experience in the position offered or as an Executive/Managing Director or Group Account Director with a media agency. All required experience must have included overseeing a media staff of 10 individuals; managing media budgets of $15M for global brands; leading contract negotiations including media pricing terms; developing econometric modeling for the evaluation of media spend effectiveness; and using Nielsen Media Impact, Comscore, Double Verify, TGI, GWI, The Trade Desk and DV360 to identify industry trends and target key media channels. This role entails hybrid work, with time split between working in our New York office and flexibility to telecommute from another U.S. location. Requires domestic travel (5% of the time).
