Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating press brake machinery to bend and shape metal components according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of machining processes, and the ability to read blueprints effectively. The Press Brake Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and precision of our fabricated products.

Responsibilities

• Setup & operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal parts as per engineering specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine the specifications of the parts
• Perform quality inspections of finished products using precision measuring instruments to ensure products meet required standards.
• Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately and efficiently
• Troubleshoot issues with the machine or tooling and make necessary repair or adjustments
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar machining role is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of machining processes, including tooling, assembly, and fabrication techniques.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings is essential.
• Familiarity with quality inspection processes and precision measuring instruments
• Ability to operate overhead cranes, hoists, and forklifts safely for material handling
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing production needs.
