Position Summary:
Lead all employees in the Inspection department. May plan work schedules, train and support inspection employees, provide input to Supervisor/Manager related to team performance and quality metrics, and communicate to off-shift personnel. As a working Lead, continue to perform inspection tasks, including First Article, In-Process, and Final Inspection. Provide input on how to improve or create new inspection processes and have the ability to program Coordinate Measuring Machines/Scanners (CMM). The successful candidate will have experience performing inspections in a machine shop environment and have proficient knowledge of GD&T. In addition, they will demonstrate the ability to review and critique AS9102 reports and support audit efforts.

Experience & Education
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required, engineering degree preferred
- 6 years of recent experience working in inspection is required
- 2 years of experiencing leading others is required
- Experience in manufacturing, aerospace or similar industry is preferred
- CNC machine shop environment is strongly preferred
