Job Summary
Prelude is a collection of passionate and creative hospitality professionals who are committed to service at the highest level. We are looking for a guest-oriented team player to join our front of the house team.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
· Provide outstanding customer service to guests and ensuring their needs are met/exceeded throughout their dining experience.
· Demonstrate an expert knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and recommendation for pairing with food and beverages.
· Set up and organize the dining area, ensuring cleanliness, proper table settings, and adequate supplies, linens, glassware and silverware.
· Oversee the timing and pacing of service to ensure a smooth flow of dining, coordinating with the kitchen staff to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of food and beverage.
· Stay updated on industry trends, new food and beverage offerings, and the fine dining best practices to continually enhance your skills and knowledge.

Minimum Requirements:
· Minimum of 2 years of fine dining experience
· Passion and desire to learn
· Knowledge of food safety principles and procedures
· Well-groomed
· A flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
· Exceptional customer service skills
Prerequisites for Employment:
- Valid California ServSafe Food Handler Certification
- Valid Responsible Beverage Service Certification
