What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Replenishment Coordinator position at Omaha Steaks?
Location: 11340 S 153rd St, Omaha, NE 68138, USA
Schedule: Full Time 1st shift, Monday through Friday from 6am - 2pm. Schedule is subject to change based on business needs.
Essential job duties include but are not limited to:
- Works alongside and coordinates daily workflow among forklift drivers to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks. Communicates work instructions clearly and professionally to team members.
- Take direction from supervisors regarding daily tasks such as product staging (ARPAC), outbound loading, and order building. Pulls product and assembles partial pallets to fulfill Spreetail orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Coordinates and prioritize workflow to meet operational goals and deadlines.
- Provides backup support to the Receiving and Replenishment departments, performing the following duties as needed:
- Assists with the receipt and processing of incoming goods and related documentation
- Supports product ordering and ensures timely completion and billing of outbound shipments using AS400.
- Utilizes key software systems, including Excel, Outlook, and AS400, to manage and track warehouse operations.
- Applies knowledge of freezer layout to accurately locate and pull products.
- Assembles pallets according to work orders, ensuring correct product counts and proper documentation.
- Assists in inputting transfers for all incoming shipments.
- Assists with weekly inventory counts and resolve discrepancies as needed. Assigns forklift operators appropriate date codes and pallet locations daily to maintain proper product flow.
- Ensures team members work in a safe manner and are compliant with company policies and governmental regulations.
- Assists with the coordination of general cleanliness and sanitation of the entire Central Fulfillment.
- Coordinates departmental employee activities and acts as a resource for questions. Performs other duties as assigned.
- Meets expectations for attendance and punctuality.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- 2-3 years receiving and inventory control experience.
- Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate directions to staff.
- Ability to read, write and perform basic math calculations.
- Organized and able to prioritize multiple projects using skillful judgment.
- Ability to operate a PC for inventory tracking.
- Forklift certified preferred
- Ability to operate a computer (Excel, Outlook, AS400)
