What You Will Do
- Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team
- Build and maintain a strong team of business systems analysts and application developers. Lead daily application delivery, support, and enhancement activities while developing staff through coaching, feedback, and growth opportunities.
- Oversee Application Portfolio & Modernization
- Manage the full lifecycle of ~130 applications, ensuring reliability, scalability, and strategic alignment. Drive modernization efforts including automation, containerization, and operational maturity.
- Operational Excellence & Issue Resolution
- Serve as a key escalation point for outages and production issues. Ensure timely resolution, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement across the application ecosystem.
- Project Leadership & Delivery
- Plan and execute application-related projects ensuring on-time, in-scope, and on-budget delivery.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Lead relationships with third-party vendors including performance monitoring, contract expectations, upgrades, and issue resolution.
- Fiscal Accountability & Compliance
- Manage budgets, forecast needs, and support technology investment business cases.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree OR 8 years of BT/IT experience including 5 years in BT management;
- 10 years application development experience
- 5 years leading application delivery teams;
- strong SDLC knowledge;
- Agile/Waterfall experience;
- strong communication skills.
- Master's degree
- ITIL/COBIT certification
- PMI certification, cloud/on-prem delivery experience.
