Position Summary:
The Development Intern is responsible for providing hands-on support to the Development team through administrative reporting, event preparation, donor lounge support and database updates.
All interns at Omaha Performing Arts (O-pa) will participate in personal/professional development opportunities. This internship is for our Summer term which will run from early June-mid August 2025.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist with preparation for various development activities including: Jazz on the Green, Twilight on the Terrace, Music at Miller Park.
- Update Excel and database donation tracking reports.
- Complete Walk-In Music Project and Education Data Project.
- Prepare and compile survey data for Jazz on the Green performances.
- Assist with Stewardship reports.
- Facilitate Super Subscriber Benefits Mailing.
- Serve as a Development representative in the Donor Lounge for select performances.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Open to college sophomore, junior, or senior students as well as graduate students.
- Interest in arts administration or fundraising preferred.
- Comfortable interacting with donors in person and over the phone.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Flexible and able to perform a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Available some nights and weekends for events upon request.
- May be required to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
- The noise level in the office environment is usually quiet; public events are moderate to loud.
- General Office Equipment (Computer, Telephone, Fax, Copier, Printer).
