Bar Prep Associate

Position Title: Bar Prep Associate Department: 40-Food Services & Catering

Reports To: Senior Food & Beverage Operations Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Part Time

Position Summary:

The Bar Prep Associate is responsible for preparing all bar stations before staff arrival to ensure smooth, efficient service throughout operating hours. This role focuses on organization, product readiness, and consistent quality standards, including prepping ingredients, stocking supplies, and completing all early-shift setup tasks.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

Bar Setup & Stocking

• Set up all bar areas prior to staff arrival according to daily operational requirements.
• Transport beverages, mixers, garnishes, and other products to and from storage areas and assigned bars.
• Ensure all bars are fully stocked with necessary tools, glassware, disposables, and backup product.
• Maintain clean, organized prep and storage areas.

Food & Beverage Preparation

• Cut, wash, and prepare fruit and other garnishes following proper food-safety procedures.
• Assemble snack cups in 9oz cups with consistency and presentation standards.
• Label, date, and store all prepped items appropriately.

Compliance & Safety

• Follow all health, sanitation, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean working environment and uphold organization standards.

Minimum Experience and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in hospitality, F&B operations, or retail/shopping roles preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with great attention to detail.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required.
• Basic tech proficiency (smartphone apps, spreadsheets, or digital lists).
• Flexible schedule — availability for weekends, evenings is preferred.

Minimum Education Requirements:

• Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED)

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Ability to lift a minimum of 45 pounds
