What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dietary Aide position at Omaha Nursing & Rehabilitation?
Omaha Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is looking for a dietary aide to join our kitchen. The facility needs various shifts Monday-Friday. Weekdays will vary. Must be available weekends!
- Adheres to all safety and sanitations standards.
- Follows departmental procedures including sanitation, safety, and cleaning schedules.
- Follows proper cleaning procedures and storage of all dishes, utensils and cooking equipment.
- Ensures all food in refrigerator, freezer, and dry storage are labeled and dated.
- Oversees proper food handling and utilization of all foods to prevent contamination, increase quality, and reduced cost.
- Cleans all food service equipment, kitchen and food storage areas.
- Continuing education to include staff meetings, in-services and Web based training.
