Senior RMF Specialist / Information System Security Officer (ISSO) – JWICS Support – Rock Island, IL

The Senior RMF Specialist / ISSO guides JWICS systems through the Risk Management Framework lifecycle to achieve and maintain Authority to Operate, sustain security documentation, and strengthen continuous monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead RMF activities, including system categorization, security control selection, implementation, and assessment
• Develop and maintain System Security Plans, Security Assessment Reports, and Plans of Action and Milestones
• Maintain accurate, current security records and workflows in eMASS
• Assess security control effectiveness, track vulnerabilities, and manage configuration changes
• Coordinate with system owners, the Authorizing Official, ISSM, and other stakeholders on risks and compliance status
• Support vulnerability assessments, COMSEC, and remediation of security compliance findings
• Maintain authorization-boundary artifacts and support cybersecurity knowledge management and reporting
  
  
  

Requirements

• Hands-on expertise in RMF execution, security authorization documentation, and continuous monitoring for DoD IT systems
• 10 years experience
• BA/BS
• Current IAT Level II qualification and duty-relevant certifications meeting the PWS’s DoD 8570/8140 requirements for the assigned role
• Demonstrated mastery of eMASS, ACAS/Nessus, COMSEC, and SCAP
• Ability to communicate system risks, security findings, and compliance status to technical and Government stakeholders
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance; must maintain clearance throughout employment on the contract
• Ability to work onsite full time at Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, IL, provide cross-location technical support, and travel as required
• Ability to work an eight-hour schedule Monday–Friday aligned with customer operating hours and support approved mission needs outside normal duty hours
• CONTINGENT UPON AWARD
• Compensation will be determined based on several factors, including relevant experience, education, skills, certifications, and market conditions, with an expected range of $110,000 to $135,000.
