Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Project Manager based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The Senior Project Manager will lead construction and contracting projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Responsibilities include managing project workflows, coordinating with stakeholders, overseeing inspections, streamlining logistics, and expediting processes to ensure efficient project execution. This role requires hands-on involvement in day-to-day activities and proactive problem-solving methods.
Qualifications
- Strong Project Management skills, including the ability to lead and oversee projects effectively
- Expertise in Expediting processes and proven ability to maintain project schedules
- Proficiency in Inspection and ensuring projects meet safety and quality standards
- Experience in Public agency work Logistics Management, with the ability to streamline operations and resources efficiently
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and planning skills and experience with public projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for collaboration with diverse stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Relevant certifications, such as PMP or a similar qualification, are beneficial
