About the Role:
The Digital Press Operator I on the 2nd shift plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by operating and maintaining digital printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials. This position ensures that production schedules are met while adhering to strict quality standards and safety protocols. The operator will be responsible for setting up the press, monitoring print runs, and making necessary adjustments to maintain optimal performance. Collaboration with quality control and maintenance teams is essential to troubleshoot issues and minimize downtime. Ultimately, this role contributes to the efficient and accurate production of printed products that meet customer specifications and company standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of basic understanding of digital printing technology and press operation.
- Ability to read and interpret job orders, work instructions, and technical specifications.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle materials safely.
- Willingness to work the 2nd shift schedule.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating digital printing presses in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with color management and print quality control techniques.
