Position Summary
We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team and oversee the repair, upkeep, and safe operation of our buildings, utilities, and equipment. This position ensures all facility systems run efficiently, reliably, and in compliance with regulatory standards while supporting plant operations and workplace safety.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct maintenance staff, assign daily tasks, and monitor work quality.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, compressed air, water, etc.).
- Troubleshoot facility and utility issues to minimize downtime.
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate specialized repairs or inspections.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate maintenance documentation, service logs, and compliance records.
- Monitor budgets, control costs, and support capital project planning.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to promote safety and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure facilities meet production needs.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or technical certification in Facilities Management, Industrial Maintenance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 3 years of facilities, maintenance, or plant operations experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, utilities, and production machinery (injection presses, CNC machines, milling machines, grinders, etc.).
- Working knowledge of OSHA and environmental compliance requirements.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
- Valid driver’s license (travel between sites may be required).
Working Conditions
- Industrial/manufacturing facility environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, mobility throughout the plant, and occasional after-hours/on-call availability.
- Overtime and weekend work may be required.
