Cook – Cable House Canteen at Fort Worden State Park
Love working with food in a fast-paced, team-focused environment? Join us at the Cable House Canteen, located inside beautiful Fort Worden State Park. We’re hiring a Cook to become part of our growing team — and we’re happy to train the right person.

What You’ll Do
- Prepare and cook menu items with consistency and care
- Keep your station clean, organized, and ready for service
- Assist with prep (vegetables, sauces, salads, proteins)
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Work closely with teammates to keep service running smoothly
What We’re Looking For
- Reliability and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen
- Team-oriented attitude
- WA Food Handler Permit (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Kitchen experience is a plus — but not required
