Position Overview
Primary responsibilities will focus on adhering to ORDA accounts payable policies and procedures, financial reporting, and record keeping. This position reports directly to the Venue Expense Management Coordinator and will work directly with the Venue Business Manager, as well as ORDA’s Finance Department on Accounts Payable reporting.
Duties and Responsibilities
Regular duties include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring that all purchases follow ORDA and NYS purchasing guidelines
- Maintain Bulk Procurement report
- Maintaining a file of venue specific contracts and records of utility usage
- Keeping the General Manager apprised of needed renewals and/or terminating contracts
- Maintaining and ensuring timely payment of invoices
- Tracking Capital funds on requisitions and invoices
- Maintaining an inventory of purchased property
- Acting as a backup to the EMC
- Performing other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
- Knowledge of basic business practices.
- Prior experience with finance office functions and
- Demonstrated understanding of confidentiality (supported with references) is required.
- One (1) year’s experience in Accounts Payable business procedures is preferred.
- Knowledge of NYS purchasing guidelines preferred.
- Knowledge of accounting software is a plus.
- Needs to be computer literate and knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite applications with good typing skills.
- Must demonstrate a professional appearance as well as outstanding organizational and communication skills.
Salary Range and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $45,846 to $66,018. The hiring range for this specific position is $45,846 - $50,430 per year. Final offer will be within the hiring range and will be dependent on qualifications and experience.
