Olympic Masonry is a mid-size commercial masonry contractor specializing in block,
brick, and stone work. We are currently seeking a dependable and experienced
Masonry Estimator to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Able to read,and interpret construction plans, specifications, and bid documents.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and prepare accurate project estimates.
- Solicit and evaluate pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
- Prepare competitive bid proposals for commercial masonry projects.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, suppliers, and customers
throughout the bidding process.
- Visit job sites and attend meetings as needed.
- Manage multiple estimates and bid deadlines simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Experience in masonry estimating preferred.
- Strong understanding of commercial masonry construction, including block,
brick, and stone work.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Experience with estimating software is a plus. PlanSwift experience is a
plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to accept constructive criticism and continuously improve
Requirements
- Valid driver's license required.

- Professional attitude and strong work ethic.
