ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
The Data Manager will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and overseeing a comprehensive data strategy for the Early Childhood Services Program. The Data Manager will work across all content areas (including ERSEA, education, family engagement, disabilities services, and health & nutrition services) to promote the agency’s agenda to use data-informed decision-making throughout the program.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Review (and revise as necessary) Early Childhood Services data strategy, maintaining compliance with Head Start and ECEAP Performance Standards.
2. Lead improvement or upgrade of existing data systems, processes, and procedures to align with data strategy, as necessary.
3. Perform regular audits of and monitor data collection to maintain integrity and quality.
4. Produce regular progress reports, conduct data analysis, and provide relevant visualizations and reports to management team.
5. Identify additional opportunities for data-informed decision-making and develop relevant reports.
6. Maintain and review inventory of program technology assets, recommending replacement of aging or problematic equipment to ensure technology remains current and meets the program’s needs.
7. Collaborate with agency Information Technology Contractor to monitor electronic backup of program’s digital assets.
8. Coordinate all technical support efforts with IT Contractor to ensure the proper function of all agency technology devices (desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, telephone systems, fax services)
9. Develop and maintain basic preventive maintenance program for technology devices.
10. Serve as administrator for the ChildPlus electronic data management system, ensuring database is set up and maintained to provide data collection and reporting capabilities to meet performance standards and continuous improvement efforts.
11. Provide local ChildPlus technical support to staff and managers, elevating issues to ChildPlus support as needed.
12. Serve as administrator for the ECEAP program’s ELMS database, monitoring and updating data regularly to meet state ECEAP data entry requirements.
13. Provide formal training and informal coaching support to program staff in the area of data management, computer and software use, email management, site cell phones, web-based database navigation and data entry (ChildPlus, CAP60, ELMS), and other applications as needed
14. Set up and maintain audio-visual equipment for staff trainings, recording and publishing training sessions as requested by management team.
15. Perform other duties as assigned.

2. Successful experience in providing technical assistance to computer users of different skill levels.
3. Experience in working Web base environment.
4. Ability to read/learn independently.
5. Excellent organization and management skills
6. Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to work as a team member.

8. Experience in providing minor repair and maintenance for small office equipment.
9. Experience in setting up computer work station, upgrading equipment, and troubleshooting problems.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.50 per hour
