What are the responsibilities and job description for the XCEL Team Coach position at Olympia-Team Central Gymnastics?
The Xcel coach will report directly to the Head Xcel Coach. Performance expectations include, but are not limited to: Safety, Vision, Leadership, Training, Curriculum, Customer Satisfaction, Teamwork, and Company Image. Olympia/Team Central coaches are responsible for building confidence and self-esteem, while helping athletes learn proper gymnastics to the best of their ability in a safe, fun environment. Coaches are also responsible for exceptional customer care and professional conduct.
- High School Diploma (preferred)
- 2 years coaching competitive gymnastic (required)
- Gymnastics background and experience teaching (required)
- Advanced knowledge of gymnastics skill and progression breakdowns (required)
- Strong class management skills (required)
- Must have outstanding organizational, communication and interpersonal skills (required)
- Ability to lift equipment and spot children (required)
- 4-15 hours/week. Mostly evening hours with possibility of weekend hours.
