Shipping & Receiving Clerk Job Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming parts and merchandise shipments
- Accurately process and stock inventory in designated locations
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company standards
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper labeling and organization
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory control procedures
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Coordinate with Parts Department staff to fulfill internal and customer orders
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Identify and report discrepancies, damaged goods, or inventory concerns
- Follow dealership procedures and manufacturer guidelines

Shipping & Receiving Clerk Qualifications
- Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, inventory, or automotive parts experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift, move, and carry parts and packages as needed
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory management systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Dependable work ethic and commitment to accuracy
- Forklift experience is a plus but not required
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred
Corporate Hiring Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
