Position Summary
The Staffing Manager is responsible for managing employee schedules, coordinating shift coverage, responding to call-offs, and ensuring proper staffing levels for all programs. This role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
This position works Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and serves as the weekend on-call contact for staffing emergencies.

High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred

Key Responsibilities
Create, update, and manage daily/weekly staffing schedules for Assisted Living, PDN, and PCA services
- Respond to weekday and weekend employee call-offs and secure shift coverage
- Coordinate staffing needs and communicate updates with supervisors and admin team
- Utilize HRIS platforms including Run Powered by ADP and ADP Workforce Now
Maintain accurate attendance, scheduling records, and credential reminders - Communicate with staff via phone, text, and email to fill open shifts
- Ensure staffing complies with MN Department of Health and DHS requirements
- Support HR with onboarding coordination and documentation updates
- Provide Monday morning reports of weekend staffing activity
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance with HIPAA regulations
High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Prior experience in staffing, scheduling, HR, or healthcare coordination
- Experience using HRIS systems (Run Powered by ADP, ADP Workforce Now)
- Understanding of healthcare shift structures, staffing ratios, and regulatory requirements
- Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, organized, and able to respond promptly to urgent needs
- Ability to serve as on-call staffing support during weekends
