The Soul Space and Oly Float is seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team.
The Soul Space is a healing arts center focused on stress management and central nervous system recovery through a variety of modalities, including Floatation Therapy, Massage, Contrast Therapy, Infrared Sauna, Craniosacral Therapy, Intuitive Counseling, and Energy Work, as well as a myriad of counseling services. Schedule
We are open 9am to 9pm every day but Mondays. We currently have around 40 total hours a week of availability in our massage calendar, so we're seeking one to two practitioners to split that amount between them, likely one practitioner at 12-18 hours per week, though it could be 12 for one person and more like 24 for another, depending on availability. We currently have open availability for the following days/shifts:
- Wednesday 8am-2pm
- Wednesday 2pm-9pm
- Thursday 2pm-9pm
- Friday 8am-2pm
- Friday 2pm-9pm
- Saturday 2pm-9pm
- Every Other Sunday, 2pm-9pm
Our priority is weekend coverage.
We don’t schedule more than 4 sessions in any given day, to prevent injury or burnout.
The position is an on-call position. If there are no sessions scheduled, you would not be expected to be at work, though your schedule will typically be full. While most of our scheduled sessions are typically made 24 hours or more in advance, we do also take same-day appointments and provide our massage therapists with a four hour notification window for all same-day sessions, supported with automated email and text message notifications to enable easy management of schedules. All sessions have a 30 minute break between them for room turnover, physical and mental recovery, SOAP charting, and to generally be able to arrive at the next session relaxed, centered and grounded.
Compensation & Benefits
Our goal is to provide a mix of base hourly wage and per-service commission that provides our massage therapists with approximately 40% of the revenue from any session, plus all tips. Compensation includes the 30 minute transition period between sessions (that is, you’re paid for that time).

Interview Process
The interview process will include a quick 10-15 minute personal interview. If we feel like a good fit together, there will be a follow up 30 minute massage interview.
