Job Summary:
The Production Coordinator oversees the Production aspect of food services consistent with health care regulations. The Production Coordinator mentors Food Service Staff on meal production procedures. The Production Coordinator will ensure compliance to safety and sanitation policies and procedures while maintaining the highest quality of services. They will be responsible for scheduling of deliveries, receiving and inventory of Food Service related products. Maintains stock and ensures appropriate par levels are set. Monitors compliance of menu content for daily meal counts for regulatory documentation. Maintains equipment and schedules preventive maintenance.
Essential Job Duties:
1. Develops meal production lists and schedules for all Food Service staff to follow to ensure compliance with production requirements based program and individual special diet needs and regulatory requirements.
2. Oversees the production activities in all kitchens.
3. Provides training and mentors Food Service Staff.
4. Work hands on to assist department staff to ensure quality checks and quality control.
5. Oversees the appropriate operation and maintenance of Food Service equipment.
6. Ensures compliance to safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
7. Maintains appropriate inventory level. Responsible for receiving and inventorying product.
8. Promotes professional development, coaches, trains and models .
9. Requisitions supplies and equipment.
10. Fills in for Food Service Staff as needed in the delivery of services provided by the department.
11. Implements systems and programs to improve quality and internal controls.
12. Any other duty that is requested by your supervisor. Receives and fills program supply needs
13. Responsible for the inventory ordering and distribution of central food supply.
14. Maintains appropriate inventory levels and adjusts Par levels as appropriate.
15. Pulls items for daily and weekly meal prep. for the central kitchen
16. Daily meal count tally for verification documentation.

Education:
Minimum Degree Required:
High School Diploma
Experience:
Minimum Experience Required: 6-9years of related work experience.

Physical Requirements:
The overall nature of the position is non-sedentary requiring l physical effort with occasional physical exertion required. There is frequent exposure to environmental conditions.
• The constant physical demand of the position is standing, walking, climbing, talking, hearing, repetitive motions, and eye/hand/foot coordination.
• The frequent physical demands of the position are lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, balancing, stooping, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping, and feeling.

Salary : $23 - $28
