Position Summary
Responsible for the safe, accurate, and professional installation of built-in residential appliances. Ensures all installations meet manufacturer specifications and company quality standards while delivering an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Install built-in appliances (wall ovens, cooktops, ranges, dishwashers, microwaves, refrigerators, ventilation systems)
- Read and interpret installation manuals, schematics, and job orders
- Ensure proper measurements, fit, and alignment within cabinetry
- Perform basic electrical, plumbing, and ventilation connections
- Test appliances to confirm proper operation
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues on-site
- Protect customer homes (floors, walls, surfaces) during installation
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding installation and usage
- Complete required documentation and customer sign-offs
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry basics
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and diagrams
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
