Olson Pediatrics is a private practice clinic located in Lake Oswego. We are dedicated to offering comprehensive, high-quality care to children and families. We are currently seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team of healthcare professionals.


Position Overview:
The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) will work closely with pediatricians and healthcare teams to provide direct care for children from infancy through adolescence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, making a meaningful difference in the health and wellbeing of children in our community.


Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive physical exams, health assessments, and developmental screenings for pediatric patients.
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic pediatric illnesses and conditions.
Prescribe medications and treatments, including preventive care and immunizations.
Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
Provide emotional support and guidance to families navigating childhood illnesses or healthcare challenges.
Collaborate with pediatricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Document all patient interactions and treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current on best practices in pediatric healthcare.

Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB) or equivalent.
Active state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Oregon
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Previous experience in pediatric care required.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with children, families, and healthcare teams.
Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care delivery.
