Assistant to Nighttime Production Lead
The Olson Baking Company is a leading manufacturer of Frozen Baked Goods for Grocery Stores all over the US. We have a great amount of pride in our company and would like to find an employee who enjoys being part of our team so we are seeking an Overnight Assistant to Production Lead for full-time employment.
Position: PM Assistant to Production Lead
Starting Pay: $22/hr depending on skill level
Type: Full Time Position with guaranteed sick pay & benefits available
This job opening is for the Night Shift. Hours of availability need to be between 5:00pm-5:00am. Shifts are typically 10hrs a night Monday thru Thursday but may vary due to our production schedule.
Our ideal candidate is reliable, possesses strong verbal/written communication skills, and works well in a busy environment alongside the rest of our Production Team. They must be able to stand for long periods of time and be able to respond to the Production Supervisor quickly and efficiently.
Must have excellent attendance!

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Reliable, punctual, and must be available to work holidays and weekends
· Previous baking experience (wholesale production preferred)
· Warehouse management
· Ability to work 10 hour nights
· Bilingual/Can speak Spanish and English
· Can read & write English
· Strong communication skills, positive attitude, and team-focused mentality
· Enjoys leading teams and coaching, teaching and training people
· Knows the correct protocols of progressive discipline
· Knows Food Safety Regulations
· Pallet Jack, forklift, manlift certified
· CPR Certified
· Knowledge of union rules and regulations & can implement/inspect 5S Standards
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow instructions given by the PM Production Lead
- Ensure evening paperwork is completed and turned in prior to end of shift
- Monitor production quality to make sure product meets company standards
· Supervise production & packaging crews
· Satisfactory hearing and vision are required, as is depth perception, color vision, and quick mental and muscular coordination.
· Other assigned duties
