Comedy Club Doorman/Security

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and professional Door Attendant to join our team. As a Door Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and guests. Your primary role will be to monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring the safety and well-being of everyone on-site.

Responsibilities:

- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the premises

- Monitor and control access to the building, verifying identification when necessary

- Maintain a visible presence to deter any potential security threats

- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure a safe environment

- Respond promptly to any security incidents or emergencies

- Provide assistance and directions to guests as needed

- Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV cameras, to monitor activity on the premises

- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required

- Implement loss prevention measures to protect property and assets

- Resolve conflicts or disturbances in a calm and professional manner

Qualifications:

- DPSST Events and Entertainment License

- Valid certification in CPR, first aid, or related field preferred

- Previous experience in surveillance, loss prevention, or a similar role is an asset

- Knowledge of security protocols and procedures

- Strong observational skills with attention to detail

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations

- Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment
