Duties About Us:
OLP Services is a compassionate and community-focused adult day care center located in Hollandale, Mississippi. We provide a safe and engaging environment for our seniors and adults with disabilities. We are currently seeking a dependable, friendly, and flexible driver and daycare support staff member to join our team.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Position Summary:
This position involves transporting clients safely to and from our center and assisting with general facility duties when not driving. We are seeking a professional, caring individual who enjoys working with older adults.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport clients to and from their homes to the center in a company vehicle
- Ensure the safety and well-being of clients during transport
- Assist clients in and out of the car as needed
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Support staff with daily activities and programs in the center
- Assist with meal service, light cleaning, and monitoring clients during the day
- Run errands or assist with deliveries when needed
- Maintain accurate transportation logs and daily checklists
Qualifications:
- Must have a Class D driver's license
- Experience working with elderly or disabled adults is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and assist clients with mobility needs
- Friendly, patient, and dependable
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
