Starting Pay - $20.40 to $27.46 (based on experience)

Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Demonstrates flexibility
- BLS certification within 90 days of hire
Job Responsibilities:
- Sits/stands and warmly welcome all who enter.
- The greeter will be positioned close to the front doors to be easily accessible.
- Assists patients and visitors with patient rooms and departments using Epic.
- Utilizes Lync to notify Business Office when patient presents to the desk.
- Keeps cars flowing through canopy area.
- Be knowledgeable of safety concerns and bring to the appropriate person’s attention.
- Assists patients with doors.
- Assists patients with walkers, wheelchairs, and crutches.
- Ability to communicate well with all people of diverse background and ages.
- Knowledge of the hospital layout and working knowledge of the hospital.
- Reports issues in entryway, lobby, and canopy areas.
- Respects confidentiality at all times.
- Answers incoming calls in a professional, courteous manner and transfers calls appropriately.
- Assesses and prioritizes emergency telephone calls.
- Overhead pages clinicians, staff, and patients.
- Confirms appointments for clinical areas through Epic.
- Other duties as assigned.
