What are the responsibilities and job description for the Olmsted Falls - Substitute Utility Worker position at Olmsted Falls City Schools?
Renhill Group is currently recruiting Substitute Utility Workers for Olmsted Falls City Schools.
The Primary function of a Utility Worker is to to perform work required for the routine care, maintenance, protection and preservation of the assigned areas, its contents and grounds and to do other work that might be assigned.
Minimum requirements:
- High School Diploma/Equivalent
- BCI & FBI background checks
- Dated within the past 12 months
- On file with the Ohio Department of Education
- Can be conducted by Renhill Group for one of the area’s lowest rates ($55), if you do not already have them. Call to make an appointment.
Necessary Skills/Duties:
- Performs assigned routine maintenance and repair of building and its equipment, plus all phases of assigned duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
- Removes snow, ice and debris from walks, steps, entryways as assigned by the Supervisor.
- Helps unload trucks. Receives, checks, and stores building and custodial supplies.
- Maintains grounds as assigned by the Supervisor.
- Be responsible for securing building as assigned by the Supervisor.
- Performs other job related duties that might be assigned by the Superintendent or his/her designee.
- To assist custodians with job duties as assigned, but not to replace custodial duties.
- Operate maintenance equipment (lift, floor scrubber, etc.) as required and as assigned by Supervisor.
