What are the responsibilities and job description for the Olmsted Falls City Schools - Substitute Custodian position at Olmsted Falls City Schools?
Renhill Group is currently recruiting Substitute Custodians for Olmsted Falls City Schools.
This position is on-call and as needed throughout the 12-month calendar year.
Qualified candidates must be able to provide verifiable previous experience in cleaning/maintenance, as well as demonstrate knowledge of basic safe practices and sanitary cleaning procedures.
Minimum requirements:
- High School Diploma/Equivalent
- BCI & FBI background checks
- Dated within the past 12 months
- On file with the Ohio Department of Education
- Can be conducted by Renhill Group for one of the area’s lowest rates ($55), if you do not already have them. Call to make an appointment.
Necessary Skills/Duties:
- Physically able to bend, balance, stoop, stretch, climb, crouch, kneel, reach, stand, and lift up to 70 pounds
- Dry mop/wash floors
- Clean furniture, fixtures, walls, windows, lockers, partitions, light fixtures, and display cases
- Remove and dispose of trash
- Move/arrange furnishings, supplies, and equipment as needed/directed
- Sanitize and re-supply restrooms
- Vacuum and power-clean carpet and upholstered furnishings
- Ability to read MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) information
- Perform minor repairs
- Perform preventive maintenance activities
