What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL-A OTR Truck Driver – Dry Van position at Olmax Logistics?
Start at 70¢ per mile. Every loaded and empty/deadhead mile is paid.**
Average weekly mileage is approximately 2,500–3,600 miles. Drivers who prefer to run more generally stay out longer than two weeks. Mileage and weekly earnings are not guaranteed.
**What the position offers**
- 70¢ per mile starting pay on all loaded and empty/deadhead miles
- Approximately $1,750–$2,520 in weekly mileage pay at the typical mileage range
- $2,000 new-driver bonus paid in automatic milestones through 90 days; written terms provided before start
- Paid every Friday
- Mostly no-touch 53-foot dry-van freight
- Lower 48 states with no New York City
- Two weeks out with approximately three days home
- 2022–2025 Freightliner Cascadia, Kenworth T680 and International automatic trucks
- Refrigerator, microwave and inverter in every truck; APU available in many trucks
- Detention, layover and clean-inspection pay
- 24/7 dispatch support
**Position details**
- 1099 contractor position
- No passengers or pets
- Specific truck assignment is subject to availability
**Minimum requirements**
- Valid CDL-A
- At least two full years of verifiable OTR tractor-trailer experience
- No major driving issues in the last three years; individual records require safety review
- No SAP candidates for this opening
