Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with product selections, ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and upselling opportunities
- Maintain visual merchandising standards to keep the sales floor attractive and organized
- Stock shelves efficiently, manage inventory levels, and assist with merchandise replenishment
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when responding to inquiries or assisting customers remotely
- Support store operations by performing cashier duties, basic math calculations, and retail math to ensure accurate transactions
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in a fast-paced environment such as grocery stores or specialty retail
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership and team coordination skills
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to connect with diverse customer groups
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math calculations is essential
- Strong communication skills and excellent phone etiquette are necessary for effective customer interactions
- Experience in merchandising, stocking, product demos, and upselling techniques will help maximize sales potential
