Housekeeper

Olivia Hotel is seeking a motivated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team! In this vital role, you will ensure our guests enjoy pristine, well-maintained rooms and public spaces. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a positive experience for every guest, maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and hospitality that define our brand.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms and public areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels
• Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms by disinfecting fixtures, replacing supplies, and ensuring overall hygiene
• Conduct floor care activities including carpet cleaning and polishing hard floors to ensure a spotless appearance
• Manage custodial tasks such as trash removal, restocking amenities, and ensuring sanitation standards are met throughout the property
• Assist with outdoor work when necessary, including sweeping walkways or maintaining outdoor common areas
• Use proper manual handling techniques to lift heavy furniture or supplies safely while adhering to safety protocols

Qualifications

• Prior experience in residential cleaning, hotel housekeeping, janitorial work or commercial cleaning is preferred
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and sanitation practices
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during cleaning tasks or when handling supplies
• Strong time management skills to prioritize daily duties effectively
• Customer service skills to ensure guest satisfaction through friendly interactions and attentive service
• Experience with outdoor work or outdoor cleaning tasks is a plus
• Familiarity with laundry procedures and custodial responsibilities is desirable
