Reading Interventionist
- Part-time position: Hours to be determined by building principal.
- School year position. Student Days: Approximately August to June.
- The primary function of the LRE Paraprofessional is to provide academic support to students.

Qualifications:
- Must possess an Associates (or higher) degree, or have two years of college (60 credits), or have successfully passed the ETS Paraprofessional exam.
- Must possess a friendly, positive attitude.
- Excellent work performance, dependability, and confidentiality are required.
- Self-motivated, positive, team-oriented individual willing to work with students and staff.
- Ability to pass a criminal background and unprofessional conduct background checks.
Skills & Position Requirements
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information
- Provide in-classroom one on one or small group instructional support
- Observe and document student progress as directed
- Communicate student progress with classroom teachers
- Act as a representative of the district when greeting and dealing with parents, community members, vendors, students, and employees.
- Regular dependable attendance is a critical performance factor to ensure high quality customer service.
- Other responsibilities as needed.
