Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
- Plan and engage children in age-appropriate activities, including games, crafts, and educational tasks.
- Prepare meals and snacks for children, adhering to dietary restrictions as needed.
- Assist with homework and provide guidance on educational projects.
- Maintain a clean environment by tidying up play areas and ensuring cleanliness after meals.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns.
- Provide basic first aid when necessary and maintain a calm demeanor in emergencies.
- Support children's daily routines, including nap times and hygiene practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in babysitting or nannying with references available.
- Strong background in childcare, including infant care and toddler care.
- Knowledge of first aid procedures is preferred; certification is a plus.
- Ability to create engaging activities that promote learning and development.
- Excellent communication skills with both children and parents.
- A clean driving record may be required if transportation is involved.
