Senior Claims Adjuster, General Liability Litigation

On behalf of our esteemed client in the Insurance industry, a well-respected leader known for their commitment to excellence and innovation, we are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented professional to join their team as a Senior Claims Adjuster for General Liability Litigation. This is a permanent position offering a dynamic work environment where professionalism and individual growth are advocated.

Role and Responsibilities :

  • Examine and evaluate insurance claims to determine the extent of the insuring company's liability.
  • Negotiate settlements and authorise payments within a specified dollar limit.
  • Collaborate closely with legal counsel on litigation strategies for complex general liability cases.
  • Prepare reports by collecting and summarising information required by client, agencies, or as necessary for claim resolution.
  • Facilitate meetings to discuss and resolve claims efficiently.
  • Stay updated on the industry trends, legal changes and policy adjustments that may affect claims processing.

Key Skills :

  • Proven experience as a Claims Adjuster, particularly within the fields of General Liability and Litigation.
  • Strong analytical abilities and financial skills.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to resolve claims fairly.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organised.
  • Capability to work independently and make judicious decisions about claim handling.
  • Knowledge of insurance policies, legal aspects of claims processes, and paperwork handling.
