Private Equity Director - Fund Administration

Out client is looking for an experienced private equity fund accounting leader who oversees full fund accounting for closed end and private equity structures. Responsibilities include managing capital activity, NAVs, financials, waterfalls, and reporting, while leading a team, supporting audits and on boarding, and serving as a primary client contact. The role focuses on accuracy, controls, and process improvement within a growing private equity group.Job SummaryThis role is suited for an experienced private equity fund accounting professional who will lead teams, manage key client relationships, and oversee the full life cycle of fund accounting for closed end and private equity structures. The position is part of a growing private equity group that supports complex fund structures and partners closely with clients to enhance operational models and technology driven processes.The Private Equity Director will manage end to end fund accounting activities, including capital calls, distributions, NAV preparation, financial statements, profit allocations, fee calculations, waterfall models, and performance reporting. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely delivery of all client and investor reporting, while maintaining strong internal controls and contributing to process improvements.This position includes oversight of audit cycles, participation in client on boarding, and the development and management of a team of up to ten staff. The Director will act as a primary client contact and work closely with senior leadership to support both client service and internal operational objectives.Skills and Experience:More than 7 years of fund administration experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership roleStrong understanding of private equity and closed end fund structuresBachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related disciplineProfessional qualification such as CPA, completed or in progress preferredExperience with systems such as Investran is advantageousDemonstrated ability to lead teams and manage stakeholders effectivelyStrong analytical skills and the ability to work in a fast paced, client focused environmentPleae Note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Salary : $75,500 - $103,400
