- Own preventive maintenance across presses and manufacturing equipment to keep production humming.
- Perform electro-mechanical diagnostics and execute repairs; test machines and assemblies to confirm performance.
- Decide when to repair internally and when to engage external service providers.
- Monitor and verify the quality of third-party contractor work.
- Partner with production leaders and line personnel to ensure proper, efficient equipment use.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work approach at all times.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 4 years of similar industrial maintenance experience.
- Comfort reading mechanical drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics; machine shop background is a plus.
- Fluency with hand tools and precision measurement gear (micrometers, calipers, etc.).
- Knowledge of electrical wiring/components, pneumatics, hydraulics, water/cooling systems, and general maintenance.
- Understanding of basic electrical and mechanical concepts, metal fabrication, and material applications.
- Standing and walking for roughly 75% of the day; some lifting and pulling.
- Demonstrated proficiency in electrical schematics and electrical troubleshooting.
