Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists in the oversight of all?day-to-day operational activities of the department?
- Maintains personal connections?with guests, clients and community organizations to encourage?guest loyalty???
- Assists in supervising?team members?with efforts relating?to recruitment, orientation, training, scheduling, performance management, counseling and other team member relations issues?
- Maintains knowledge, skills, and abilities needed?to perform any position?in the department??
- Prepares foods according to specifications and quality standards established in recipes and procedures
- Prepares equipment and food based on forecasted needs and events
- Maintains working knowledge of all kitchen machinery operations
- Maintains updated knowledge?related to current menu options, preparation methods and techniques, and ingredients?
- Maintains inventory controls and dates all incoming products
- Assists in monitoring and upholding policies and procedures for safety of guests and team members
- Assists in maintaining cleanliness throughout the department
- Assists team members and other departments as needed to contribute to operational efficiency??
- Performs additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership
