Role: Multimedia Designer

Location: Remote, US

About the role:

OLIVER is looking for an experienced and imaginative Multimedia Designer to support our global financial and investment services account by bringing powerful visual storytelling to life across digital channels. This is an opportunity to join OLIVER's award-winning in-house creative model, where you’ll play a key role in producing dynamic, insight-driven multimedia content that spans social, video, motion, and interactive platform. Your work will help transform complex concepts into content that is accessible, engaging, and memorable. As the Multimedia Designer, you'll be the creative engine behind multimedia campaigns that turn sophisticated concepts into compelling visual narratives. Working across platforms such as Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging digital spaces, you'll develop everything from short-form social clips (7-15 seconds) to long-form educational and storytelling-driven content.

You’ll collaborate with copywriters, designers, strategists, and cross-functional partners to elevate content beyond static templates – introducing fresh ideas, motion, interactivity, and visual innovation. Success in this role means crafting content that engages audiences, drives action, and enhances the creative impact of the brand.

What you will be doing:

  • Create high-impact video content and motion graphics spanning short social clips to long-form content that drives engagement.
  • Design multimedia assets for paid social campaigns, email, websites, and native across global markets.
  • Develop interactive digital experiences including videos, quizzes, calculators, and other engaging multimedia formats.
  • Translate complex or dense information into visually accessible stories.
  • Adapt creative content for different platform specifications and channel requirements while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Shape multimedia storytelling strategies for emerging platforms and pilot new content formats.
  • Work within existing brand guidelines while contributing fresh creative ideas to evolve visual standards.
  • Stay ahead of trends in AI, design tools, and multimedia technology, integrating new capabilities as needed.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure multimedia content supports broader campaign and business objectives.

What you need to be great in this role:

  • Expertise in motion graphics and video editing tools, particularly After Effects, with a strong portfolio demonstrating creative storytelling across formats. Proven experience creating short-form content and longer-form video that engages audiences and drives results.
  • You must also be experienced and willing to design and produce static digital assets.
  • Ability to translate abstract financial concepts into compelling visual stories that avoid industry stereotypes and generic approaches.
  • Strong understanding of digital ad specifications across social platforms and how to adapt creative content for different channels and audiences.
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working closely with copywriters, designers, and cross-functional partners.
  • Familiarity with design tools (Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator) and understanding how motion and static design work together.
  • Curiosity and adaptability to new technologies, including AI-driven creative tools. Experience working with brand guidelines while still pushing creative boundaries.
  • Exposure to interactive or experiential digital content creation (web-based experiences, streaming platforms, lead funnel landing pages) preferred
  • Knowledge of investment and financial services industry, including an ability to understand and translate financial concepts into accurate, clear, and engaging visual content. Qualifications: Formal degrees are welcome but not required. Equivalent experience counts. Experience can be gained through work, study, volunteering, or self-directed learning.
  • If you're excited about this role but don't meet every requirement, we encourage you to apply.
  • At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from $97,750.00 to $109,250.00.
