Leasing Consultant
Valley Run Apartments – Wilmington, DE
Pay: $21–$23 per hour, plus leasing bonuses
Schedule: Full-time; some evenings and weekends may be required
Valley Run Apartments is seeking an energetic, dependable, and customer-focused Leasing Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has strong sales and follow-up skills, and can create a welcoming experience for prospective and current residents.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to phone, email, internet, and walk-in inquiries
- Schedule and conduct apartment and community tours
- Follow up consistently with prospective residents
- Explain rental rates, availability, qualifications, and lease terms
- Process applications and collect required documentation
- Prepare leases, move-in paperwork, and resident files
- Assist with resident questions, renewals, notices, and service requests
- Maintain accurate guest cards, traffic reports, and leasing records
- Inspect apartments before tours and move-ins
- Follow Fair Housing laws and company policies at all times
Qualifications
- Previous leasing, property management, sales, hospitality, or customer-service experience preferred
- Entrata experience is a plus
- Strong communication and sales skills
- Professional, friendly, and dependable
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Comfortable using computers, email, and property-management software
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced office
- Available to work the required schedule, including occasional weekends
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, if required
