Duties
- Provide compassionate pet sitting and daily care for a variety of animals, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times
- Handle animals with confidence, utilizing animal restraint techniques and proper handling skills to prevent stress or injury
- Assist with dog training sessions to promote good behavior and socialization skills
- Overnight pet sitting in clients home for a set fee.(not paid hourly)
- Engage with pet owners professionally, delivering excellent customer service by providing updates and addressing concerns confidently
Experience
- Prior experience in veterinary technician work or pet care preferred
- Hands-on kennel experience or pet grooming background is preferred
- Demonstrated skill in dog handling and training techniques
- Knowledge of animal restraint methods and safe animal handling practices
- Experience in pet sitting or caring for multiple animals simultaneously
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary to move supplies or assist with larger animals
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members
- Great time management and communication skills
- Able to work independently and get tasks assigned to them in a timely manner
- Must have reliable transportation and live within a 20 minute drive of the Panama City Beach airport
