What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Team Member position at Olive Cart?
At Olive Cart, we have a passion for helping our customers develop and appreciate excellent flavor combinations, healthy cooking alternatives, and we offer an array of gourmet products to do so. We are looking for a part-time team member to join us now through the end of December!
What is required?
- Welcoming & approachable personality
- Reliability & adaptability
- Ability to lift 30lbs regularly, up to 50lbs occasionally
- Previous retail experience preffered
What does the job entail?
- Working our POS/cash register systems
- Engaging customers, offering samples & providing suggestions
- Taste-testing products & offering suggestions to customers
- Working with team to complete tasks (i.e. inventory counts; labeling, filling & stocking; display changes; price changes, etc.)
- Cleaning fustis (containers that hold our oils & balsamics) and other regular cleaning responsibilities
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal, Temporary
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
