Maintenance Supervisor – Manufacturing / Industrial Equipment
Full-Time * On-Site * Richmond, VA
We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment. This role oversees a team of Maintenance Technicians and ensures all equipment, machinery, and systems operate safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and support Maintenance Technicians to meet daily maintenance requirements.
- Perform and oversee troubleshooting on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled equipment.
- Manage preventive maintenance schedules, work orders, and repair priorities.
- Reduce downtime through effective root-cause analysis and continuous improvement.
- Partner with Production leadership to ensure equipment readiness and achieve operational goals.
- Maintain documentation, safety compliance, and machine reliability standards.
- Train team members on equipment, safety procedures, and maintenance best practices.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience required.
- 2 years in a lead, senior technician, or supervisory role.
- Strong background in diagnosing and repairing industrial machinery (not facilities or apartment maintenance).
- Experience with conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical systems, and PLC troubleshooting.
- Ability to manage maintenance priorities in a high-volume environment.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training preferred.
