Focus: The Senior Cost Accounting Analyst supports manufacturing cost control and site accounting activities for Olin's largest assets. In this role, you will oversee cost-of-sales drivers (raw materials, energy, manufacturing and engineering spend), capital expenditures, working capital, and productivity initiatives. You will also support accurate and timely financial closes, budgeting/forecasting, and management reporting - providing insights that help improve efficiency and profitability. This role is high impact and high visibility partnering closely with the Epoxy business division. This role offers hands-on experience working in SAP within a manufacturing environment.

Senior Cost Accounting Analyst Essential Responsibilities:
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, including:
- Executing month-end close procedures and journal entries
- Preparing account reconciliations and investigating variances
- Supporting physical inventory observations and ensuring accurate inventory accounting
- Reviewing fixed assets and supporting capitalization/depreciation processes
- Analyzing results, compiling management reports, and delivering ad hoc financial analyses
- Coordinating site estimates/forecasts and supporting the annual budgeting process
- Support the annual standard cost-setting process and maintain standard costing assumptions
- Maintain compliance with company policy and U.S. GAAP; support SOX/internal control activities (documentation, testing, and remediation as needed)
- Ensure audit readiness and support internal/external audit requests, including timely responses and supporting documentation
- Partner with manufacturing and engineering teams to identify cost optimization opportunities, quantify impact, and track productivity initiatives
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree* in Finance or Accounting; CMA or CPA certifications preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of related cost accounting experience and experience performing accounting work in a manufacturing company.
- Familiarity with U.S. GAAP and SOX/internal controls preferred.
- Proficiency with an ERP system required; SAP experience preferred.
- E xcellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior Olin experience in a relevant position preferred.

- Degree must be from a school that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the Secretary of Education of the U.S. Department of Education or equivalent program from an international university.
